How to Choose Your Skis

Unless you’re an advanced skier, when you stand your skis up next to you, they should be between your chin and the top of your head.

Shorter Skis or Longer Skis?

There are several things to consider when determining your preferred ski length. Are you a beginner or intermediate skier? Do you weigh less than is average for your height? Do you like making short, quick turns and seldom ski fast? Then shorter skis are probably right for you.

If you answer no to those questions, we’d likely recommend longer skis. These also make sense if you’ll be skiing off-trail or skiing a twin-tip ski.

What’s Your Boot Size?

Your ski boot size is closest to your street or dress shoe size — not your athletic shoe size.

Demo Ski

Whether you are an intermediate skier who wants to take your skiing to the next level or an expert who demands the very best equipment, our Demo Ski Package is designed to fit your ability level and preferences. Featuring current production gender specific skis from K2, Salomon, and Rossignol. Demo skis are our newest and best performing skis, and are therefore our most premium rental option. Demo Ski Package includes skis, boots and poles.

Our Performance Ski Package is tailored to your specific skiing style and preferences. This package features gender specific skis, twin tips, powder skis, and great carving skis from K2, Rossignol, and Salomon. This a great option for the intermediate-advanced skier who is not interested in trying out new demo skis. Performance Ski Package includes skis, boots and poles.
